Onyx Player ("we", "our", "the app") is an Android application for streaming and media playback. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and the choices available to you. By using Onyx Player, you agree to the practices described below.

Onyx Player doesn't require an account to use. However, the following information may be collected automatically through the app and its third-party services:

  • Device information — device model, OS version, unique identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID), language, and region.
  • Usage data — screens viewed, content interactions, crashes, session length, and general in-app behavior.
  • Advertising data — identifiers and approximate location (from IP address) used by Google AdMob to serve and measure ads.
  • Log data — IP address, access times, and error logs generated automatically while using the app.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive information such as financial details, precise GPS location, or government identifiers.

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the app's features and performance.
  • To display and personalize advertisements through Google AdMob.

04Streaming Content & Sources

Onyx Player does not host media content itself. Any content streamed through the app is sourced from third-party providers or links supplied by the user, and we are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party sources.

05Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with:

  • Service providers (such as Google AdMob and Analytics), strictly to operate the app's advertising and analytics functions.
  • Law enforcement or regulators, if required to comply with a legal obligation.

06Data Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect information processed by the app. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

07Children's Privacy

Onyx Player is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

  • Disable personalized ads via your device's Google Ad Settings.
  • Uninstall the app at any time to stop all data collection by it.
